Student Voice

Student Voice allows Students within Huxlow Science College to have their say and opinion on the issues that matter to them the most.

The group consists of over 30 pupils across all years and looks at different areas within the College including food, decoration, social spaces, lessons and extracurricular activities to name a few. We meet on a regular basis and meetings are chaired and lead by Miss Broughton who passes on thoughts and ideas to Senior Leadership.

As a group we have managed to make many positive changes throughout and around school, our most recent being the increase in variety of extracurricular groups and trips. Even the spaces in which students sit and eat lunch have had input from Student Voice.

It is extremely important to us that the students’ voice is heard and feedback on areas that have an impact on a day to day basis are taken on board to improve the school environment.

If you would like any more information or would like to join Student Voice please see Miss Broughton for more information and keep an eye out for the next meeting.
