Huxlow’s whole College community assembled for Remembrance Day

On Friday 11 November 2016, the whole College community assembled on the sports courts to commemorate Armistice Day. Mrs L Gauvrit, Assistant Headteacher, led the memorial. The “Last Post” was performed on the trumpet by one of Huxlow’s young musicians, followed by a two minute silence, observed by all the staff and students. One of Huxlow’s student librarians read the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ to close.

Huxlow Science College will be represented at the Irthlingborough memorial service on Sunday 13 November by the Head Boy and Head Girl supported by school staff, who will lay a wreath on behalf of the College community.
