Nuffield Research Placement offer for computer programming

Congratulations to Calum Patton, a Year 12 student from Huxlow Science College, who has beaten the odds to gain a place on the Nuffield Research Placement Scheme. Over five students competed for each place with the Nuffield Foundation, who organise STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) research placements for Year 12s across the country. Nuffield Research Placements provide over 1,000 students each year with the opportunity to work alongside professional scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians. Calum will be working this summer with the University of Northampton on a computer programming project.
